Israel was reported here today as having asked the French Government for another 12 Mystere jet fighters. French sources said that in addition to the 12 supersonic fighters sent by France to Israel recently and the other 12 promised this week-end, Israel has applied for 12 more.
The Foreign Ministry here today issued a communique stating that the United States Government has agreed to a French proposal whereby the U.S. would accept delay in deliveries of off shore contracts to permit France to make a speedy delivery to Israel of the second 12 Mystere jets.
