U.S. Officials Discuss Enforcement of Laws Against Discrimination

Representatives of numerous governmental bodies in the United States and Canada, gathered here today for the eighth annual conference of commissions against discrimination, began discussions on methods and procedures of enforcing anti-bias laws on various governmental levels in the two countries.

The parley this year is sponsored by the Fair Employment Practices Branch of the Ontario Department of Labor. The conference is an informal organization designed to strengthen laws against discrimination in employment and public accommodation and education.
