French Foreign Minister Christian Pineau is expected to discuss the question of arms sales to Israel among other matters when he arrives in Washington in the next few days to confer with Secretary of State Dulles and other top U.S. officials. He is slated to leave Paris tonight.

It is believed that the French Foreign Minister would propose a four power meeting including the Soviet Union, to consider Middle East problems. M. Pineau recently visited Moscow where he conferred with top Soviet Government leaders. It is considered possible that Israel Ambassador Eban will meet here next week with M. Pineau.
