Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold is believed here to be making preparations to continue his “good offices” between Israel and the Arab signatories to the armistice agreements when he visits a number of European capitals, including Moscow, within the next few weeks.
That was the interpretation given by observers here today to the reason behind a conference between Mr. Hammarskjold and Mordecai R. Kidron, acting chairman of the Israel delegation.
