The Attorney General of Michigan, Thomas A. Kavanagh, has ruled that advertising by a resort that “for 63 years we have served a gentile clientele” violates the state’s Civil Liberties Law. The ruling had been requested by the Michigan Tourist Council after it had received a complaint from the Jewish Community Council of Michigan.
