The Polish News Agency here reported today that the question of anti-Semitism in Poland was raised by the head of Poland’s Communist Party, Edward Ochab, in his report to the last plenary session of the central committee of the Polish-Workers Party. Mr. Ochab is quoted as having stated.
“The party should show special concern and attention to safeguard legality in relation to national minorities. The party must redouble its efforts to combat all manifestations of nationalism, anti-Semitism and discrimination in relation to citizens of non-Polish nationality to safeguard their true equality in all fields of life, and must see to it that all harm done in this field which can be put right, should be put right.”
