The United States National Commission on UNESCO has adopted a resolution condemning the Arab states of religious discrimination against Jews and refusing to grant them travel visas solely because they are Jews.

The resolution, following charges of discrimination introduced at the meeting by the American Jewish Committee and the American Jewish Congress, asked elimination of such restrictions at the forthcoming general conference of UNESCO in New Delhi.
