The Soviet Ministry of Culture has asked a number of Jewish theatrical leaders to prepare a project for the opening of a Yiddish State Theatre in Moscow in May, 1957, it was reported here in the current issue of the Warsaw Yiddish newspaper “Folkstimme” received here today.
