Z.O.A. Convention Opens Today in Washington; Nixon, Kefauver to Speak

The four-day annual convention of the Zionist Organization of America will open tomorrow at the Mayflower Hotel here with more than 1,200 delegates from all parts of the country in attendance.

Vice President Richard M. Nixon and Senator Estes Kefauver will be among the leading figures in all walks of American life who will address the convention. They will speak on the same day, setting forth the views of their respective parties on American policy toward Israel and the Middle East.

The sessions of the convention will be given over to discussion and action upon all major issues affecting the future of the State of Israel and the Zionist movement. Prominent Zionist and Israeli figures who will address the sessions include: Dr. Abba Hillel Silver, Israeli Ambassador Abba Eban, Dr. Emanuel Neumann, Mortimer May, ZOA president; Leon Dultzin, president of the Zionist Federation of Mexico; Rabbi Irving Miller, chairman of the American Zionist Council.
