Canadian Jewry purchased a total of $4,500,000 worth of Israel Bonds during 1956, it was reported today by Martin Newmark, general manager of the State of Israel Bond Organization in Canada. The Canadian Jewish community of 200,000 men, women and children has purchased a total of $15,500,000 in Israel Bonds since the campaign was started slightly less than four years ago.
