Three hundred and seventy-five bushels of Canadian wheat worth $950,000 were shipped to Israel this week from Vancouver aboard the “S. S. Panagos,” it was announced today by the Canada-Israel Corporation, which was established by the Canadian Jewish Congress and Zionist Organization of Canada to stimulate trade between Canada and Israel. This brings to $8,500,000 the total value of shipments of Canadian wheat to Israel arranged by the corporation to date.
