The 84th birthday of Prof. Abraham Galante, historian and world-famous Sephardic personality, was celebrated yesterday at the Jewish Cultural Center here. Author of 59 books, most of them dealing with the history of Jews in the Ottomon empire, Prof. Galannte is a former member of the Turkish Parliament. Messages were read from leading authorities.
