Canadian Minster Addresses Jewish Labor Committee Convention

The Jewish Labor Committee of Canada was a pioneer in the educational campaigns which have resulted in legislation in six of ten Canadian provinces outlawing discrimination in employment, Canadian Labor Minister Milton Gregg declared here last night. He was speaking to the 20th annual convention of the JLC.

Mr. Gregg asserted that the Canadian Government seeks a settlement in the Middle East which will ensure the survival of Israel. The convention, in a resolution reaffirmed its support for the people of Israel and urged Jews and non-Jews in Canada to support Israel in this difficult hour.
