Dr. Levine Re-elected J.N.F. President; Appeals to Eisenhower on Israel

Dr. Harris J. Levine was last night re-elected for an eighth term as president of the Jewish National Fund of America. Mendel I. Fisher was re-elected secretary for his twenty-third term. Dr. Levine appealed to President Eisenhower to avert the use by the United Nations and the United States of sanctions against Israel as “inconceivable and immoral and against the best interests of the United States.”
