Israel Relaxes Restrictions in Arab Areas Under Military Control

The Israel Government announced today new regulations designed to relax restrictions in Arab areas of the country which remain under military government. Arab and Druze members of the Israel Army will be permitted to enter and leave military government areas without restrictions.

The Histadrut executive, meanwhile, decided today to give full membership rights in the labor federation to all Arabs and Druze who served in the Israel Army or its reserves.
