The Social Credit Service of Montreal is distributing an anti-Semitic pamphlet entitled “Salvation Island” in this area. Some 300, 000 copies of the pamphlet, described as an “illustrated parable for young and old” have been spread throughout Canada.

Meanwhile, in Ottawa, Solon Low, leader of the Social Credit movement, disassociated his national party from the Montreal group and hit the distribution of the anti-Semitic booklet. He charged that the pamphlet “can only result in ill-feeling, racial prejudice. “
