Israel Parliament Votes 930, 000,000 Pound Budget for 1957-58

The Israel Parliament passed today the first reading of the 1957-58 budget which calls for an expenditure of 930,000,000 pounds. The second and third readings of the budget bill are expected later this week before the House recesses for Passover.

Premier David Ben Gurion started today a vacation which will extend until the end of the Passover holidays. The place where Mr. Ben Gurion is vacationing is kept secret.
