Special UJA awards were presented here today to Philip Bernstein, executive director of the Council of Jewish Federations and Welfare Funds, and Gottlieb Hammer, executive director of the Jewish Agency, for their leadership of the Social Service Division in the UJA campaign. The awards were presented at a gathering in the headquarters of UJA of Greater New York.
