The Jewish Colonization Association, at its quarterly meeting here decided to provide additional funds for the integration of Jewish refugees from Poland, Hungary, Egypt and North Africa in any country where the JCA now operates.

The JCA further decided to expand its colonization activities in Israel’s Lachish development area, where it has just opened Sdeh Moshe, named in honor of the Baron Maurice de Hirsch, one of the greatest Jewish philanthropists of the last century. Finally, the JCA agreed to renew its financial support of a program of education for Jewish children in the protectorate of Aden, which it maintains in conjunction with the Anglo Jewish Association.
