Edwin Wolf, 2nd, was re-elected president of The Jewish Publication Society of America for a fourth term at the 69th annual membership meeting held here.
In his annual report, Mr. Wolf stated that the year 1956 showed gains in the Society’s Bible sales, book distribution and membership. Nine books were published during the year and ten volumes are planned for 1957, including a volume titled “The Exiled and the Redeemed,” by Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, president of Israel.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
