El Al to Cut New York-Tel Aviv Flying Time with New Planes

Flying time between New York and Lydda Airport, Israel will be cut from 32 to 21 hours when El Al Israel National Airlines puts British-built Brittania turboprop passenger airlines on the flight, it was disclosed today. With delivery of the giant craft, El Al will operate a daily service on the transatlantic flight.

El Al also announced that it would renew service between Lydda and the Union of South Africa.
