Shmuel Abba Horodetzki, noted author and leading scholar on the history of the Hassidic movement, died here yesterday. He was 86. Born in Russia, educated in Europe, Dr. Horodetzki settled in Palestine in 1939. He was the author of the “History of Hassidism” and some 500 articles on the subject in five languages.
