The world convention of Betar, the Revisionist youth group, opened here tonight with 71 delegates from the United States, South Africa, Belgium, and other countries. Among the delegates and guests are Australian Mexican and Argentinean youths who are visiting or have settled in Israel.
In a massing of flags which formally opened the convention were represented the banners of Betar organizations in countries where Jewry and its institutions had been exterminated by the Nazis.
