Dr. Nahum Goldmann conferred here today with leaders of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, and indicated that the next meeting of the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, of which he is the president, may be held in Rome. The Conference is scheduled to start its next meeting on January 23.
Dr. Goldmann was told by the leaders of the Italian Jewish communities that they are planning to arrange celebrations in Italy of the 25th anniversary of the World Jewish Congress. He accepted their invitation to participate in these celebrations which will take place in October.
