The first key to the town of Elath was presented with fanfare today to Mayor Donald J. Connally of Trenton, New Jersey, who toured the southern port city as a guest of the Israel bond drive.

Back in Tel Aviv, Mayor Connally, who brought with him pledges from the Jewish community of Trenton for the purchase of $250,000 in bonds, said he was greatly impressed by his tour of Israel’s cities and major towns. He compared Haifa to Trenton as a port city and an industrial center.
