The Danish freighter Brigitte Toft was today added to the Arab blacklist. The Egyptian Middle East News Agency reported the ship would be denied loading and unloading privileges in Egyptian ports. The Toft passed through the Suez Canal on July 21 en route to Haifa with a cargo from Burma.

A report from Cairo today said Egypt’s new Soviet-built submarines are equipped with guided missiles which can be launched below surface. The report also said that Communist Czechoslovakia has delivered a new 300, 000 watt radio transmitter to Egypt, doubling the power of the powerful anti-Israel “Voice of the Arabs.”
