Jewish Welfare Board Director Named to Eisenhower’s Advisory Body

Rabbi Aryeh Lev, director of the Commission on Jewish Chaplaincy of the National Jewish Welfare Board, has been appointed by President Dwight D. Eisenhower to the newly-formed President’s Citizens Advisory Committee on the Fitness of American Youth, it was announced here today.

The Advisory Committee was established by President Eisenhower to “consider and evaluate existing and prospective governmental and private measures conducive to the achievement of a happier, healthier and more completely fit American youth.”
