Premier David Ben Gurion began today a two-week vacation from his Cabinet duties. Finance Minister Levi Eshkol will take over as Acting Premier.

Before leaving on vacation, Mr. Ben Gurion received this week-end a group of touring American Government officials. The party consisted of State Department and Defense Department officers who deal with Middle East Affairs. They came to Israel as part of a regional tour after attending a series of lectures at the American University in Beirut.
