A very unique concert will be presented in Carnegie Hall tomorrow evening, dedicated to strengthening cultural relations and understanding between the United States and Israel, Dean James A. Pike of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine announced today as president of the New York Chapter of the America-Israel Society.
Izler Solomon will conduct the Symphony-of-the-Air in a program featuring the American premiere of a new work by Robert Starer, one of Israel’s best-known composers, with Zin Zeitlin, Israeli violinist, as soloist. Proceeds of the evening will go to support the work of the America-Israel Society.
