Plans for the construction of a “City of Light” for Israeli blind in Jerusalem, were announced here today by Ira Guilden, president of a newly-formed organization established for this purpose.
Among the sponsors of City of Light “Keren Or” are rabbis David de Sola-Pool and Leo Jun? Dr. I. Snapper, Dr. E. M, Bluestone and Dr. Jack Masur. The new “City of Light” will have an initial capacity of 600, with separate quarters for children, adults and the aged.
