Life of Marranos in Latin American Countries Studied in Mexico

Boleslaw Levin, well known Argentine Jewish historian has come to Mexico City to study material in the Mexican Government Archives for research on the Marranos in Mexico and other Latin American countries.

Mr. Levin has undertaken the project on the invitation of President Itzhak Ben Zvi of Israel who is interested in research on ancient Jews and Jewish tribes which have disappeared from history. The study is financed by Dr. George S. Wise, American Jewish sociologist and industrialist now living in Mexico.
