Tunisian authorities have banned the sale of the Paris published Herut newspaper “Notre Drapau” on the grounds that it incites Jewish youth to emigrate from Tunisia, it was reported here this week-end.

Despite numerous appeals from Tunisian Jewish leaders, the authorities continue the ban. The only other Jewish newspaper sold in the country has been seized on numerous occasions on charges of causing Jews to leave for Israel.
