The Herut, rightist party in Israel, is preparing to launch an independent campaign for funds in the United States and Canada, it was announced here today by A. Drori, secretary general of the Herut, following his arrival here with a number of other Herut leaders in an “advance delegation.”
Mr. Drori made his announcement at a reception by the United Zionist-Revisionists of America for Joseph Klarman, one of the Herut leaders. It was also announced that the “large delegation of the Herut Party” which will come to this country will be headed by Menachem Begin, top leader of the party.
