Leon Cresthol, of Montreal, only Jewish member of the last Canadian Parliament, was re-elected yesterday in the national elections. He was one of the few Liberal Party members to survive the Conservative landslide which gave Conservative Prime Minister John Diefenbaker control of 80 percent of the seats in Parliament.

On the eve of the election, Mr. Diefenbaker paid courtesy calls on two leading Montreal rabbis, Shaie Hershorn and Zemac Zambrowsky.
