Washington’s Embassy row will be represented Sunday at a B’nai B’rith dinner honoring Israel Ambassador Abba Eban. Diplomats of 11 nations will participate with members of Congress, and officials of the White House and State Department in the formal event marking Israel’s tenth anniversary.
Ambassador Eban will be awarded the B’nai B’rith President’s Medal by B’nai B’rith president Philip M. Klutznick. The Ambassador is being cited for his “humanitarian contributions to the welfare and advancement of the Jewish community. “
