Ban on “air France” Lifted by Arabs; Was Imposed for Service to Israel

Air France, the French national airline, announced that the Arab League states had lifted their ban against the line’s flights to Damascus and other Arab League centers. The ban was imposed in January, 1957, in retaliation for Air France’s refusal to drop its service to Israel, which is continuing.
