Jewish Congress Asks New Jersey Governor to Veto Sunday Bill

The American Jewish Congress today urged Governor Meyner to conditionally veto the Sunday Closing Bill passed by the Assembly on the grounds that “It impairs the freedom of conscience of a large segment of the New Jersey religious community and operates to prefer one religious view over others.”
