Seven Canadian cities are currently headed by Jewish mayors, the Canadian Jewish Congress reported today on the basis of a recent survey of Jews in municipal administrations in this country. The seven include the executive of the suburb of West Kildonan as well as the Mayor of Toronto and such important industrial centers as Medicine Hat. Saskatoon and Moncton.

Jews in lesser municipal posts include nine Montreal city councillors, seven in various posts in Toronto and eight scattered across the country, the CJC city study found.
