Leaders of the National Federation of Temple Youth representing 14,000 teen-agers interested in the Reform Jewish movement in the United States and Canada, will hold a three-day meeting here to map plans for the strengthening of Liberal Judaism among Jewish youth in America. The parley will open next Friday.

In emphasizing the need for the youth movement in Reform Judaism, NFTY president, Robert Miller of Lexington, Kentucky, said today: “Leaders of the Reform Jewish movement must recognize that the future of our vastly expanding Liberal Judaism in this hemisphere depends on the proper education of the youth already affiliated through our synagogues.” He warned however that, “unless adequate funds are provided to take care of the programs being demanded by teen-agers in our 560 temples, it could well mean a slowing of the progress that we have made over the past five years.
