Israel and the West are “plotting against” the Arab states, the Soviet Union charged again last night. The accusation was contained in a Moscow radio broadcast monitored here.
The announcer said that though Israel was not a member of the Bagdad Pact, she openly sides with the Western Powers and gave American and British troops the right of transit across her territory.
A commentator on a British Broadcasting Corporation program, reporting the Soviet charges against Israel and the Western Powers, called it an “additional move in Russia’s anti-Semitic campaign.”
