The leader of a five-man delegation of government officials of the French Sudan, all Moslems, told Israelis today that “the peoples of Africa stand by your side, convinced that the people of Israel is not concerned with the race of a man but with the man himself.”

The delegation visiting Israel as guests of the government, was tendered a luncheon today by Finance Minister Levi Eshkol. The delegation leader. Modiba Koita Eta, who addressed the luncheon, stressed the wide area of possible cooperation between Israel and the French Sudan and the broad areas in which he said the French Sudan could learn from Israel’s experience.

“We believe your neighbors will also begin to benefit from your accomplishments for the development of the Middle East and the settlement of its problems,” he declared.
