Apprentice sailors from Ghana will be taken aboard Israeli ships from now on, it was announced by the Ministry of Transport.
After qualification, Ghanian seamen will be allowed to fill berths abroad vessels of the Zim Navitation Line plying the Haifa-West Africa route. At present apprentices from Ghana are crew members of ships of the joint Israel-Ghana Black Star Line.
