A review of Israel’s economic situation was provided to C. Douglas Dillon, Undersecretary of State for Economic Affairs, today by Israel Ambassador Abba S. Eban.
Mr. Eban discussed with Mr. Dillon, Israel plans for the new fiscal year. He outlined hopes for a continued program of economic cooperation and assistance.
Israeli productivity gains were reported as well as problems still facing the Israeli economy.
