Ten British-manufactured jet fighter planes have reached Jordan today via Egyptian air space, it was reported here from London. The planes were a gift of the United States Government.

A British naval flotilla of a cruiser and two destroyers entered Haifa Harbor today for a five-day good will visit. As the 1,200 officers and men of the three ships began pouring ashore for leave, Israeli citizens cheered their welcome. A number of sports events, tours and social functions have been scheduled for the visitors.

The unidentified plane that flew over southern Israel and Jordan last Thursday dropping flares over Israel and bombs on Jordan was apparently an Egyptian reconnaissance plane, it was reported here. It was noted that the air photographing mission came at a time when Israeli military officers have noted an increase in Egyptian ground reconnaissance inside Israel.
