Radio Moscow’s Arab-language broadcasts have been devoted to a major extent to reports of the arrival in the Soviet capital of the first party of students from the United Arab Republic to attend Soviet universities. The arrival of the students, under the terms of a new UAR-Soviet cultural pact, was also marked by a “festival” of UAR films in Moscow.
