Radio Tangiers has for the past few nights been broadcasting a 30-minute Hebrew program entitled Kol Hatikvah (The Voice of Hope) prepared in Jerusalem.
The organization which prepares the program is unknown, its address being given only as Post Office Box 857, Jerusalem. It is presumed to be a Protestant missionary institution.
In Algiers, both Jews and non-Jews registered in classes in the Hebrew language organized here by the Jewish Agency Department of Culture. The majority of the student body comes from the ranks of the army and includes, Jews, Catholics and Moslems.
