President Adolf Schaerf announced today the designation of Wilhelm Krell, executive director of the Vienna Jewish community, as a member of the Austrian Privy Council. Herr Krell played a leading role in obtaining concessions from the Austrian Government in the indemnification of the Jews of Austria for losses they suffered under the Nazi regime.
