Israel has been invited to participate in the first World Congress of Flight to beheld with cooperation of the Departments of Defense and State. The Congress will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 12 to19.
The Congress of Flight will portray and analyze the impact of modern aviation on the international economy and display many phases of air logistics, Israel has received an invitation to send a delegation in a letter of transmittal from Secretary of State Dulies.
The Congress will include a jet age conference, jetliner demonstrations, air-rescue operations, missile management conference, military demonstrations, and symposiums on efficient use of air space, communications, safety measures, navigational aids, testing methods, and other subjects. Israelis will also be free to participate in part of the Congress devoted to the space age.
