Arabs More Hurt by Anti-israel Stand Than Israel, Ben Gurion Says

“The quarrels which the Arab states pick with us do more harm to the Arab states than to Israel, “Israel,”. Prime Minister David Bin Gurion declared in an interview published in Le Monde, one of the moat influential newspapers in this country.

“It is with sharp regret, ” Mr. Ben Gurion told Le Monde’s correspondent in Israel, ‘that we see no signs of stability, much less of collaboration among our neighbors, even among themselves.”

The Israel Premier expressed the opinion that tic Arab nations “will finish by living under regimes that they will choose.” These regimes, he said, will understand the importance of higher standards of living, and will not fear to introduce collaboration between Israel and the Arab world. Mr. Be Gurion described, if the interview, at some length, how Israel is helping the sovereignties in Asia and Africa.
