A Turin court rejected an appeal today for annulment of a marriage on racial grounds which involved revival of the principle of racial inequality contained kt Fascist legislation repealed in 1944. The court said that to grant the annulment on the grounds cited would be contrary to the “supreme moral principles of full equality of all human beings.”
To grant the petition in this case, the court ruled, would “discriminate against a human being solely on account of race” and would thus result in “serious injury” to moral principle.
